I have bought several Speck products (including satin macbook pro covers, laptop bags, and even the ipad candy shell) with high satisfaction. This product so disappointed me that I will now think triple hard before I buy another speck product again.
As others have stated, the application is extremely difficult. On my first attempt, the skin got dirty and had to be trashed. The second was a better application, but there are still bubbles left that look like dirty spots on the screen when you have a bright white color on the screen. Very unacceptable. I wish I could get my money back.

I'm not sure why there are so many complaints about this being difficult to install. I had a few bubbles left around the border but my cover hides these. As for its anti-glare qualities it's perfect! It's nearly equivalent to the anti-glare screen on my MacBook Pro, which is factory, not film. Absolutely a must for watching movies. Great product!

I have many i-Devices and have tried several screen protectors. Usually the problem is with dust and bubbles. I have successfully applied many others protectors bubble free, but this particular product is very sensitive to dust! I took it to my school's class 10,000 clean room and still could not get the sucker on cleanly! Not to mention they only provide two protectors, while most others offer you three for the same price. I will be trying another Matte screen protector soon.

With all of the negative reviews of this product, I was a little nervous about what I just had purchased. I heard about bent packaging, and bubbles under the screen. I have installed about 3 previous screen protectors on my iPad, so I had a little idea of what I was doing. Honestly, if you simply watch the video installation of this product on speck's website, it makes it a lot easier...especially if you've never done it before. I did end up with ONE bubble (on the outside of the display). I don't understand why the reviews are so negative. This is certainly better quality than any cheap old screen protector for the iPad. Some compressed air really does help keep dust off of the screen during installation...just a tip.
I will definitely buy a pack of these again...after my other screen protector needs replacing. Buy it! You won't regret it.

I've applied screen protectors on plenty of phones, but the ipad screen is just too large to apply something like this to. Additionally, the microfiber cloth included with it to clean the screen left pieces behind... So I had to use a different cloth to clean the screen. Way too many bubbles, as well as the underside of the screen protector attracting tons of gunk before it could even get stuck to the screen. In the end, a waste of my time and money.
